Portuguese SOTA is an extension of similar programmes already active in other countries.

Much of the initial list of summits was based on the work of Manuel Alberto Marques published and NOW Adapted and performed to Portuguese,   Manuel Alberto Marques was also the creator on Portuguese Mountains Award edited by FNA Fraternidade Nuno Álvares RadioScouting Department.

take a look to CR6FNA

A couple of summits have reference numbers for SOTA also in Spain.

As stated in General Rules, you must choose SOTA Association and use proper reference number before activation and you cannot change it during your activation.
